Great point and shot
This was just what I wanted and needed for my current picture taking.
I used to use 35mm, lenses, all of it. Too much trouble when traveling.
Picture quality is very very good. -

OK camera
I had the SD1200 for six months before it was lost and replaced with this model. I bought this because of the low light capabilities. The SD 1200 zoom was much easier to use as it was on the back of the button and one could use one's thumb to manuveur it. This model has the zoom onthe front and is not as convenient. Also, the image before shooting the picture is not as clear so I never really know if my subject is in focus. I think this problem is attributable to the larger screen. I am only sure of the clariy when reviewing the shot. All in all, I prefer the SD1200 model.

Canon SD1300IS
Overall, a very sturdy digital POS camera built to the same standards that I've become accustomed to with Canon products. This is our fifth overall Canon digital camera and second POS and I've noticed no drop off in quality. Excellent camera and I would recommend it to those who require a compact digital camera but who seek comparable digital photographs with the high end Canon EOS line.
