Excellent for the price!
This camera is absolutely unbeatable for the price!
Photography:
For photos, this camera is an excellent choice. I primarily use it to take HDR photos, and they all have turned out fantastically! The image quality is great. It's also very cool that you can take 40 pictures in a matter of a second.
Video:
For videos, this is a decent camera. While it doesn't offer 1080p, it still offers 720p, which will suit most of your needs (unless you're planning on using it for highly paid professions.) At 720p HD with unlimited recording, everything looks crystal clear. The only downside to this camera is that it doesn't have a mic jack, so you're stuck with the built in mic (don't get me wrong though, the built in one is of good quality!)
High Speed:
The high speed video quality is not the best, but as long as you stay at 210fps, you'll be fine. Anything above, and the video quality is almost unbearable. Even at only the 210fps option, everything is super-slow and looks neat. (Oh, and it's unlimited recording.)
General - The Verdict:
Only one big complaint - the battery life is poor. But anyways...
In general, this camera has a very nice price to performance ratio. Although it may not be the best for a professional photographer, it still will suit most people's needs perfectly. -

For The price it is hard to beat
I researched Digital Cameras online for 2 weeks. If you want a camera that shoots fast (up to 40 frames a second), great zoom, great build quality, great picture quality and a decent price....Look no further. 1st I am amazed at the 40 frames per second out door shooting which is great for kids sporting events or even help with a golf swing. It will even shoot up to 15 frames a second I believe indoors when having a flash on. Tons of specialty shooting selections to choose from. It takes great video in 640 and crystal clear 720 HD video. I would recomend a 16 gig card to take care of all your HD video needs. I found myself starting to use the 640 setting more because the quality is good and uses less space. So far I have had it for 3 months and not a complaint about this camera. For $300 on Amazon it is tough to beat.
