    Hooked on Casio
    rating

I am an amateur photographer, and I've been using Casio cameras for years now. This is my 3rd Casio Exilim, and I love them so much that I hardly consider getting another brand, or even model. It has everything that you need (for basic to average user), it's easy to use and to take along. The only feature that I liked better with my previous Casio Exilim was that I could charge the battery by placing the camera into a dock, instead of completely removing the battery. But this is minor inconvenience.

    Not so happy
    rating

I have bought 4 exilims and this is my latest buy. My last purchase, a Z250, is excellent - especially the video button and the quicktime file format. This one, has the video button, but the output video is avi format - 1 minute video takes almost 100 MB. So it is impossible to record a long video using a 2 GB card.

Also, it does not recognize my 4GB SDHC card - which is another inconvenience.

As for taking pictures, it is like my other Exilims - good quality given its small size.

    Buy Z250, not this one.

    good camera for the price
    rating

I lost my digital camera and bought this one as a replacement, mainly because of the price, about 2 months ago. I completely love it. This is a great camera if you are someone like me: while I like to take pictures, I don't take tons of them, and I'm basically interested in snapshot and keepsake pictures--I'm not trying to take "artsy" photographs most of the time. To me, the picture quality is wonderful--while I'm sure there's better out there, it's far better than average. It's a very fast camera, is small and easy to use, and has good battery life. So far no complaints at all!
