Compact Camera With Powerful Features

The Lumix DMC-FH20 is one of the newest products in Panasonic’s line of compact digital cameras. It’s sleek, stylish, and small yet it has almost all the advanced digital camera technologies built into it. For starters, it has 14.1 megapixels which allows you to reproduce pictures in large sizes without sacrificing the details. Taking close up photos at a distance is also not a problem with the 8x optical zoom and 28mm wide-angle lens which also lets you take awesome panoramic images. The Panasonic Lumix DMC-FH20 also boasts of the following features:

  • MEGA Optical Image Stabilizer (MEGA O.I.S.)
  • iA (Intelligent Auto) Mode
  • Intelligent ISO Control
  • Face Detection AF/AE
  • Venus Engine IV
  • Sonic Speed AF

This Panasonic Lumix DMC-FH20 is great for casual shooting by families and friends. It is light, compact and easy-to-use that even the young ones can handle it well and take great shots by themselves. There are several automatic modes so there’s no need to worry about changing the settings. But those well-versed in camera settings may modify the camera settings by all means.

When buying a DMC-FH20, it is best to also get other basic accessories at the same time to save a few dollars. From Amazon, you can get the starter pack which includes an extra memory card for additional storage, a camera bag, a mini-tripod and screen protector. If you are scouting for similar-featured cameras, you may also want to check out Canon PowerShot SD1400 IS, or step-up to a digital camera designed for outdoors which is the Olympus Stylus Tough 8010.

    an a-plus camera
    rating

This is a very nice camera. It has great zoom, the pictures are crystal-clear,and there are lots of cool shooting modes to try out. You can also push the Iauto button and that will take care of everything for you. I love how the battery takes only an hour and a half to charge, compared to my previous camera taking 12 hours!! Is an amazing deal, regularly being 200bucks. I am very pleased with it.

    great camera

wonderful camera. great zoom and movie quality. used to how easy a canon is to switch from different modes, so it will take some getting used to, but for the most part it's not difficult, just more "time-consuming".

Have had the camera for over a month. Can't say anything bad about it. Pictures have been great. Just be sure not to cover up the sensor with your finger. Might buy an other one soon. Great price !!!!
